At the start of the statement released by Roj News, the Turkish occupying state stepped up its armed drone movements over our arena two weeks ago. A car was targeted by an armed drone twice between 9:30 and 10 a.m. today and no damage was caused to our companions as a result of this attack.

“The Turkish occupying state continues its brutal attacks against the region and the peoples of the Middle East, especially against our Yazidi people and the peoples of the region, attacking us in various ways. The Turkish occupying state has changed its old ways offensives after liberating Shengal from the brutal clutches of ISIS/Daesh and started attacking our people with armed drones.”

The leadership of YBŞ explained that “the Turkish occupying state wants these attacks to complete the operations of ISIS/Daesh which it did not complete, targeting our people in this position from the day of extermination until to the present day with moral and anti-human fears, and these attacks seek to spread terror and fear among our Yazidi people, who today return to their homes and are deprived of their will and their identity.”

The declaration calls on all the peoples of the region, first and foremost the Yazidi people, to adopt a firm position. “Our people must always organize against occupation and extermination.
