Newcastle United have agreed a ‘money for nothing’ deal

Newcastle United have cashed in ‘money for nothing’ with their latest trade deal.

This is the view of financial expert, Dr. Dan Plumley, speaking exclusively to Football Insider on the Tynesiders’ new partnership with Dr. Cinik.

The club revealed last Monday (September 5) that they had reached an agreement with the hair transplant specialists.

The Turkey-based clinic’s branding will feature on St. James’s Park billboards and on the club’s digital social media channels.

Newcastle became the richest club in the world after the Saudi Public Investment Fund took over in October last year.

Their master plan is to increase commercial revenue to meet Financial Fair Play stipulations and fund lavish transfer spending.

Plumley says the deal with Dr Cinik is a simple, no-fuss deal for the Magpies.

“He is one of those who is more for the company than for the club“said the expert from Sheffield Hallam University Football Insiders Adam Williams.

“You can see why a business like this would gain traction given the male-dominated middle-aged audience in English football.

“The benefit for Newcastle is extra money in the bank from the business partnership, and it’s basically money for nothing.

“We always talk about suitability in terms of sponsorship, but that’s just on the business side and the money for Newcastle is just a bonus.”

Newcastle’s shirt front deal with Fun88 is due to expire at the end of the current campaign.

They entered into a cover art sponsorship deal with PIF-linked Noon.com before the start of 2022-23.
