The Internal Security Forces of Northern and Eastern Syria released a written statement regarding yesterday’s attacks by the Turkish occupation state.
The declaration is as follows:
“The Turkish occupation army has intensified its indiscriminate attacks against civilians in the towns of Qamishlo, Amude and Tirbespiye.
The town of Qamishlo and its countryside were targeted by 15 shells. As a result, 6 civilians, including 3 children and 2 women, were injured. In addition, 23 shells targeted the countryside of the town of Tirbespiye, wounding 1 child and 1 woman.
In addition, the Turkish occupation army targeted civilian houses in villages along the border in Amude district with 21 shells. A citizen was injured and sent to hospital. Simultaneously, villages in the town of Tirbespiye were targeted by 10 shells.
This attack shows the line of the occupying Turkish state to destroy the security and stability of our regions, with its actions it implements the policy of oppression, which in history tries to implement the occupation, creates conflict and supports terrorism.
We, the Internal Security Forces, condemn these attacks and violations and call on the international community and the whole world to see these cases of terrorism on the part of Turkey and its acts of murdering children of our people and undermining the security and stability of our regions.”
