FETO scams US taxpayers to fund its schools – expert

About $4 billion goes into FETO’s coffers through US public funding of its schools, which are a “vital source of funding for the Gulen organization,” says international attorney Robert Amsterdam in his new book.

Canadian international lawyer Robert Amsterdam has unveiled his second book on the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO) and how it defrauds the US education system and taxpayers to fund its network of charter schools in the country.

Excerpts from the book titled “Empire Of Deceit: Vol II: Web of Influence” were shared by Amsterdam during a presentation at a hotel in Istanbul on Thursday.

The book sheds light on the organization of FETO-affiliated schools in the United States and the corruption that surrounds them, including financial violations and misconduct.

“It is absolutely beyond doubt clear that not only have the Gulen Schools served as a vital source of funding for the Gulen Organization and FETO, but corruption in American procurement is rampant,” Amsterdam said Thursday, referring to the US leader. from FETO. Fetullah Gulen who orchestrated a failed coup attempt in Turkey on July 15, 2016 in which 251 people were killed and 2,734 injured.

“We’re talking about what we estimate is $4 billion…that comes into FETO’s coffers through public funding and taxpayer funding from 250 FETO schools across the United States,” added Amsterdam, owner of the Amsterdam law firm. & Partners (LLP).

“Let me say that the Gulen Schools are like a vital organ for the organization. It is both economically and organizationally significant. We are talking about an estimated saving of $4 billion. The economy “These schools are more like the US economy. It’s going out of taxpayers’ pockets and 250 schools are being funded with that money. These FETO deceptions are included in the 700-page book,” he added.

Amsterdam said the schools, which pledge allegiance to Gulen, were created and strengthened through ties to influential foundations like the Rumi Forum, whose meetings have been attended by major US political figures, including Hillary Clinton. This allowed FETO affiliates to develop strong relationships with politicians there when the American public was unaware of such an organization’s close ties to the terrorist group.

But FETO’s operations in the United States have not been smooth since the US Department of Education took a look at Amsterdam’s first book, “Empire of Deceit: An Investigation of the Gulen Charter School Network.” , and now FETO must be transparent in its actions, including real estate contracts through which it generates revenue by increasing its costs, according to Amsterdam.

Relationship between Enes Kanter and FETO

Another highlight of his speech at the presentation was FETO’s relationship with Enes Kanter, an NBA basketball player and the so-called “adopted” son of FETO leader Gulen, who now lectures in the community. on human rights while developing deep ties with American politicians.

“A self-proclaimed human rights activist (that is), a critic of Turkey, but a man whose Gülenist credentials never seem to come out in the American press. He lectures the Republican Party. It has its own meetings in Congress. And no one in the Republican Party took the time to ask this foreign policy genius about his relationship with the Gulen organization,” he said.

Something “very interesting” came to light as the Amsterdam society investigated the links of Kanter’s foundation – the Enes Kanter Freedom Foundation – with other establishments in the United States, as that foundation happened to occupy the same address with a company called Arlington Strategic Supplies and Manufacturing. LLC.

“This man (Kanter), who poses as a human rights figure, has a lot to explain in terms of his relationship with Gulen…the very nature of the human rights he is trying to defend. Because at the end of the day, you cannot be a member of a cult and be a human rights defender, because the very nature of this cult is to deny essential freedoms to non-believers,” a- he declared.

In addition, FETO charter schools in the United States charge American taxpayers for education while favoring white children and discriminating against black and minority-related children, he said, stressing that this approach was totally contrary to American principles.

Comparing the terrorist organization to a “cancer”, he said FETO also posed a threat to American security. The group is a complex mafia entity that steals from even the poorest and is a foreign policy issue.

Ankara accuses FETO of being behind a long campaign to overthrow the Turkish state through the infiltration of Turkish institutions; including the army, police and justice.
